OPINION
EDITORIAL: DISTRICT MADE CORRECT DECISION TO CONTINUE MASK POLICY
As the state stopped requiring face covering in school last Marcy, our district continued to require them in hoped of keeping students safe. Of course, this was quite controversial in our town, so a friend and I decided to write an editorial together. I've found working together on opinion articles to be slightly challenging, but it went really well here.
Note: The other writer, Caleb, and I sat down and wrote this together in class, and it was a great experience learning from another.
REVIEW: 'SHADOW AND BONE' DEBUTS
AS CAPTIVATING SHOW
This was the first TV/movie review that I've ever done, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I wrote it with another staff member who was a fan of the show. I love sharing things I love, and this was one of them, so I really enjoyed discussing the show.
Note: Morgan and I wrote this article together in a shared Google Document. Writing a review on a show was a new experience for both of us, and we learned so much as we collaborated.
REVIEW: ED SHEERAN'S NEW ALBUM FAILS TO MEET ALREADY NONEXISTENT EXPECTATIONS
This review was incredibly fun to do. It was the first negative review I had done, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I think it's more interesting than our normal album reviews.
Note: we all wrote this review together, with all of us contributing to every song, and I wrote the introductions and conclusions
REVIEW: 'SHANG-CHI' DEBUTS AS STUNNING, PHENOMENAL MOVIE
I'm a huge Marvel fan, and as I said above, I love sharing about that. I had a wonderful time talking about all the aspects of the movie, and I'm really happy with how the review turned out.
